I will, but probably not before the end of the week. I have the dentists, two meetings with management about the restructuring and one with HR. smiley - yikes

Okay-dokey.

I'm in a bit of a huff at the moment. Turned up to my Law class and nobody was there. I'm in my third year at college, but in a year 1 Law group. No-one had told me that all the year 1's are at a Uni fair today!!! smiley - wah

You have a choice of a mug or a mousemat...

And we have one Tribble up for grabs too.

oh, and I think I'd prefer a mug (i own a laptop and therefore have no use for a mousemat, but a mug would come in *very* useful for drinking lemon tea. smiley - smiley

No my mate Dave got a Tribble given to him and he didn't want it, so I said we would give it away in a competition.

Aw darn! You've got me torn now for my 2nd place one!!! Mug or tribble. One of the geeks in me (There are 6 - talking to yourself is great till arguments start!) says "try for the tribble", as I'm a bit of a mad trekker, but one of the others is saying "go for the mug", as it'll look great next to the one IBM gave me at the end of my work experience, and they did look really cool!

Damn. I'm really torn now I know there's a tribble in the equation!!! . I'm pretty impressed my "Bill & Ted" caption got though - I didn't know if enough of you would get it! (I've just bought the Bogus Journey DVD!)

As for what did I do instead of my Law class - a quick update on my conversations on h2g2, picked up my free lunch in the canteen (I love being poor!), practiced my (currently pretty lame!) skateboarding in the park on the way home, and put together a massive database for my Mum, which she volunteered to do for work, when she knows next to nothing about Databases!!! Eeesh!!!

Last week, I had a bit of an Arthur Dent moment. You might like this!

It's about 10 am. and Mum's gone to work, brother's gone to school, and Dad's at his house. I woke up to a clanking sound outside, I kinda thought it was next door, but that it was a bit close. I tried to go back to sleep, but then something got dropped, made a loud sound and woke me up completely. I threw open the curtains to shock my brain into a proper state of awakeness - and there was a bloke standing there. At this point it's useful to know that my bedroom is at the front of our house, and we *don't* live in a bungalow!

At first it didn't register, I just thought "bloke", turned around, and stomped off downstairs to make coffee. ½ way down the stairs I stopped, and went back upstairs to grab my phone and palm-top. Looked out the window, thought "bloke" and then double took. S**t!!! There's a bloke stood outside my bedroom window!!! Shut the curtains again, got dressed and went out to find out what they were doing. Turns out they were replacing the asbestos guttering with plastic. They said they knocked loudly, but I was asleep so I didn't hear.

The whole thing just made me think of the start of book one. The not registering what it was, the being in my dressing-gown, the people come to do work on the house with no prior warning. The whole thing made me laugh!!!
