More to come later...
I actually like every kind of music... I like classical as well, tho' Wagner is my favourite there...

Ooooops... I was going to mention Jean Michel Jarre, but it's a bit electronic...
I don't have any kind of music i really can't stand... Some takes longer for me to get used to [for example i didn't like Eminem much first, and now i like his songs]... Obviously, there are some songs/musics i would not listen to all day of course, but i'm when listening to them on the radio...
Punk... That brings back memories... Will see if there is a BBC link [the digibox can access the BBC links by the way...] somewhere about it...
Talk soon everyone...

When I was younger I used to read alot about the life of Ludwig van Beethoven. At one time I had quite a collection of his music either in manscript or in cassette/records. He was a character, Sagitturian, quite an innovater.

yeah i can get used to most music but i prefer something that is at least played by real musicians and not just whipped up by a computer,,,i lately heard some old irish folk music that was quite good but i prefer blues or rythymn and blues type stuff when it comes to "popular" music,,,live music is best i think hello kat

Hi everyone...
Crazyhorse [and everyone really ]... Yep, i do prefer music played with real instruments, especially while seing a group/band live... during my first years in London, i used to go with some friends to some pubs where bands were playing... Even so they were not famous the ambience was great...
I also remember some of the evenings at the French Club in London... Once a week we had some jazz/blues bands playing there... as it was a small venue we were seated very near to where the musicians were playing... An experience which can be definitely called unforgettable...
Anyway, link wise... I thought i would post this one: http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/collective/U200238 as a start... it takes you to the Collective site to which we are registered as well as it's a sister site [same software than h2g2 etc etc]... worth a look... If you want to add the link to your personal spaces, change the U number to your own, then you will be able to see your own space in Collective...
Have a try and don't forget to come back and tell us what you think or if you've seen something that could be of interest for this convo...
Talk soon...
