Wasn`t `Jennifer/Juniper` by Donovon or someone similar?! I can`t remember exactly but it sounds about right.
I remember `Je t`aime`... banned by the beeb... as was `Love to Love you Baby` (the album version) by Donna Summer.
Anyone remember Plastic Bertram or `7 seconds away` with Nenah Cherry and a french sounding gentleman?
I definitely remember Toyah. One of my favourites was `Thunder in the Mountains`.
Her hair was fascinating.
My inspiration though was always Suzi Quatro. Anyone remember her?
Or Bow Wow Wow?
As regards discodiva.... at 16, shes just discovering and all power to her.
At 16, I was still mad on the Bay City Rollers, The Osmonds and Alice Cooper!
I have to say though that if the `Justin` referred to is Justin Timberlake......
Away I go again for goodness knows how long...

Afterthought: And what about Judge Dread?!

Hi Jackie
Quite right to question whether Judge Dread was a `singer`, but that definitely didn`t stop me buying his album.
Suzi Quatro. She was tiny, thats for sure. She was also voted best `posterior` of the year at one point so I believe.
loup.... Bow Wow Wow. I can`t remember the title of their main song, but I remember the singer. She had her head shaved at the sides.... very effective look.
Adam and the Ants... brilliant.
Please someone, PLEASE say someone remembers Kenny and The Bump.
Little `cheerfulness` bringers... The Monkees.
I`ll have to stop there. All these songs of yesteryear are filling my head when I need to be doing my shopping list!!
Have a great day folks.
Jane

My two favourite Scottish bands are Wet Wet Wet and Runrig.
Runrig sings folk/rock music about the life, ways and traditons of the people of Scotland. They sing in Gaelic as well as in English.
I also loved Pink Flloyd and the Stranglers.
