Who am I?

I live in Wales, with my Parents and a Gerbil with the sharpest teeth in the West, though I am waiting for my somewhat pitiful finances to reach a state that will allow me to move into a nice little place of my own (okay, maybe that's a bit unrealistic - just a little place of my own, then?). Well, I am 32, so I really should be moving out some time I guess.

I'm a bit of a musician type - have viola will travel, though you really don't want to hear my truly awful reedy contralto singing voice. I do a lot of playing around my home area (mostly amateur), and enjoy most kinds of music, though I do seem to surprise people when I know the words to certain pop songs as everyone seems to think I only listen to music written before the 1930s

Major and Exciting Amendment to this Bit!

There used to be a bit here called 'The Loneliness of the Long Distance Dieter'. But it's not here any more because I've left the slimming bit of it behind and I'm now being trained to keep it off for good! Part of that involves regular walkies at my local treadmill facility - but, well, you can see how it is... Going to the Gym is definitely a means to an end, and boy it's mean! This is my take on the whole thing after 18 months of slimming. If you want to lose weight - and are looking for like minded souls (it can be done!), try here.

I've been here since 3 December 2001, having lurked for many months prior to that - this is what I've been up to in that time...

I am the Keeper of Amateur Orchestras and Similar Unpaid Musical Entities. If you think there are lonely things out there that need keeping, why not ask the wonderful Archangel Galaxy Babe to declare you as their keeper?

I am also the Muse of Wayward Viola Playing. We all hang out at the Musehome. I lurk around Bar Bacchus and sometimes even post there!

I'm a member of the Musician's Guild (also known as a MuG - no not a mug!) and I've recently joined the H2G2 Symphony Orchestra
