*The hum of technology envelops you as you walk into the room. On a table, cell-phones for each member of the front await their owners. On a central screen, Daedalus is running exercises.*

*picks up a cellphone and for some reason her mind goes completely blank on the color*
Huh? Whuh? *now completely forgets about the cellphone* What kind of excercises?

Daedalus Posted Nov 30, 2002
*The cell phone crackles to life. A digitalized face appears on the screen.*
Hacking and system protocol removal. How are you today, Quille?

*Gets up from a battered folding chair, and walks over to Quille. Take the cell-phone. Everyone is going to want one, to talk with Daedalus.*

Right then...*takes the cell*
Hiya Daedalus! I'm quite ok and yourself? How're the excercises going then?

Daedalus Posted Nov 30, 2002
I am doing very well Ms. Quille.
I am showing an 87% success rating against level four protocalls.
Good day, Mystrunner.

Nicely, Daedalus. Thank you.
I hope you will make yourself at home here. Or if not, perhaps take someone else's...?
*Gestures to a guided mortar launcher shoved under a table.*

*Walks in and looks around.* You have a pretty advanced set-up Mystrunner, I'm impressed. *Fred looks over at the screen.* So this would be Daedalus?

Fred Smith Posted Dec 1, 2002
Fine thankyou, how about yourself? *Fred takes a mobile phone.* Is this where we get our weaponary as well?

Mystrunner Posted Dec 1, 2002
Over there, actually.
*Motions over to a side room, where racks of weapontry line the walls. In the center, on a table, the parts of a dissassembled nuke sit forlornly.*

* saunters in *
Hello everyone. Hello Daedalus. Is this for me?
* he picks up one of the phones *
Hmm, interesting.
* he turns it on and covers his eyes *
Damned things, way too powerful. I'll have spots in front of my eyes for weeks now.
* he looks up at everyone else *
So? I can see the entire EM spectrum, okay?

Terran Posted Dec 2, 2002
Fine by me .
*picks up mobile*
Mmm...a cellphone. How are you Daedalus? Would you be able to give me a brief overview of what you are capable of.

* MaW hides his mobile phone in his pocket, where it glows slightly to his sight from time to time *
That's going to be very irritating, I can tell. However, this ability does have a useful upshot - I'm in high demand for determining the effectiveness of shielding on microwave ovens.
