Nah. It doesn't hurt too much, and doesn't blister. Just a bit of heating and maybe the top layers of hair and skin blow off, but that's about it - unless you're really dumb.
It poses an interesting question, though. When I discover a small hole in my clothes, I usually assume that a moth has got at it. However, I might be lasering them instead...
