I'm afraid my brain is still too muddled to keep up with this. If I don't take a nap, I'm going to start slurring my words again. I'll catch up later.

I think the sherry's fine, but I wonder where the mushrooms came from for the soup.

Was there any sign of a menu for the dinner anywhere? How did you know about the mushroom soup? I am suspicious, something is fishy here.

They came from the woodlands outside. Oh, I spotted earlier that they're not Ash trees, as those leaves turn distictly reddish-purple in autumn, and not golden brown as stated. Maybe the mushrooms are similarly misidentified...

I wonder what they're doing letting the gardener into the kitchen. Must be desperately trying to keep up appearances if they're mixing house and estate staff.

More odd paintings on the wall. Is this the sort of reference that is obvious to everyone but me?

Has anyone eaten anything in the dining room? Has anything been served? Who is doing the serving?

I hope the mushrooms weren't taken from nearby the Ash Trees, or we could have an epidemic on our hands.

So far everything is intriguing but for one thing that keeps niggling at me: Why did Mr Body put on his cufflinks and strap on his Beretta BEFORE his bath? Or was he just IN the bath(room) rather than the bathtub? smiley - ermsmiley - biggrin

You mean you've never dressed up for a posh bath?

My dear, you've never lived.

I don't ask myself questions like that, because I'm a foreigner.

I know, but it's quite worrisome picturing MrBody ensconced in a bathtub clad only in ruby cufflinks (where ARE they attached?) and shoulder holster et Beretta (that can't be good for the Beretta). Further more, are there bubbles?
