It's a sure sign I've been hanging around this site too long when I can work out who the actors are just by reading their posting style. A bit like when you see an actor in a film and go: "Oooh! It's him! From that other film! You know..."

I am going to re-affirm my belief that if the mis-spelling quotient remains up to the opening, then the murderer is more likely to be Mr Merriam-Webster.

We did this haloween masque in the Atelier once. The game was to guess who the characters were, well, that and have fun being the disguise. I don;t think I got anyone right, which was possibly a little embarrasing.

Having done some rather edifying work with Google this afternoon has helped.

None of which will be any use for solving the murder, mind you.

I recognise a few styles, too.

Mind you, they could do with training their butler. Waiting for guests to ring the doorbell, the nerve!

I suspect he's not a very good butler. Have you had a shufti at his office yet?

I find myself subscribing to lots of threads.

The ones in the entrance hall? Portraits of women with familiar faces?

Been there, done that.

My private hope is that Mr Body sits in the bath all evening and lets the rest of these buggers feel increasingly more awkward in the Drawing Room.

Well, Mr Body appears to be in a few threads, but I admit I'm not quite sure how we're supposed to know which thread is the active one.

It's giving me terrible flashbacks of working for the National Trust.

I reckon they're all active. I've subscribed to literally everything.

It's my guess, looking at the clues about 'being invited', that we'll be allowed to potter around on the crime scene and interview suspects later.
