Hello ALS! I enjoyed the story as well. This sort of thing happens to me all the time, all my life. I've been bumping into very weird things and occasionally very weird characters since I was a little kid, I seem to be attracting it like a magnet. I already know about Feynman diagrams and the Antikythera mechanism ... I've encountered those for the first time in the late eighties, probably. Both are quite weird. But anyways, all I can conclude at this point in my life, is that the Universe has a strange sense of humour.

Ginger beer for me please! Hullo all!
Ooh eh, just saw Tower Bridge on TV ...that's amazing, just watching representatives of my nation floating down the Thames right now. ..I think I just saw the MG on one of the boats ...
No, but seriously, I've been thinking about this story all week.
I am interested in the mysterious characters, Willem, who you have encountered... if you ever want to share.
I have my equivalent to the MG. Am I shy to talk about it? Yes yes! Working on the shy writings this week.

yes, good stuff for the inspiration, this ginger beer (especially the alcool variety!)
Willem, i second cactuscafe's request to know more about your mysterious experiences, if you feel inclined to share
in the meantime... looking forward to cee cee becoming forward** - and relating her own medley of mystery
one bottle of ginger beer coming up!
** ...less shy, that is

It is. . Totally symbolic. It defines the Parameter..
Oops sorry als, we are ruining your thread, speaking purely for myself.
I have to go write a story about a charismatic Actor with a luminous aura..See you in twenty seven years.

Hi again folks. I don't think this place is appropriate for talking about the weird stuff that's happened to me or the weird characters I've met. I am already open about being a bit loopy but I don't want to be considered hopelessly crazy. But thanks for asking.

That's OK, Willem, I understand totally, being of the same order myself. Wise to protect oneself.
