hmmm. I can only assume that I didn't join this club because I didn't have enough time. Now I still don't have a lot of time, but can I join anyway? And what am I supposed to do? I never really 'got' online RPGing, I have to admit.

Honestly, neither have I. But as our front page says this is here primarily for us to gossip to eachother, other uses will develop in time I'm sure. Anyway (as is said earlier in the Conversation (somewhere)) all you have to do is give us your name, rank, and serial number 
; and your RPGing background, Titania will take care of the rest.
P.S. Incidentally there's a decent description of online RPGs in one of the other Conversations, but you'll have to look at them yourself because I can't remember which.

Greetings, all...
Hmmm... *shuffles feet* Well, I played both Baldur's Gate games, and many many online text-based MUDs, (Blackmud, Aetolia, Imperian, to name the top three) and lots of variations on the Legend of Zelda theme (I'm such a sucker for Zelda...), and am trying to persuade a friend of mine to teach me D&D.

Oh, I just got it.
Well, I've always thought of it as just a thumbs-up. Our main goal is to get the green smiley on the cover of the books. But if that doesn't work out I'd happily settle for just a smiley standing there with his thumb out and a car zooming by.
