So exciting!

"There'll be FAQs, there'll be answers"
There'll be cake and coffee,
A dad-dancing disco with a DJ at the bar.
There'll be upsides and downsides,
and really wild ride sides,
And good friends waving from afar.
Yeah, it'll be fun
So exciting!

This is all so exciting now.
Researcher5 thanks for that description of the emotional moment of the signing.

Hmm... Did someone say that Brunel will not transfer with us? Just curious if I'm imagining this.

We'll start off in the new site with the traditional skins - Brunel, Alabaster and Goo. It's not clear yet whether we'll have Barlesque right from the start, but we'll work towards getting it working, because it is really the way of the future - it's expandable and maintainable and extremely flexible.
Then we'll get the mobile apps working, the picture uploads, the video entries, the... (these last few aren't promises, they're predictions)
So exciting!
Baron Grim Posted Aug 31, 2011
When y'all are working on barleyesque, feel free to change its look a bit and definitely change its name. It has such bad connotations at the moment for many of us. (Keep the dolphins though).
So exciting!

The mobile apps side sounds promising. This has been a feature which perhaps hasn't been given the necessary resources by the BBC but with reports that nearly 50% of UK users are accessing the internet online, it's something that will clearly be critical for the future.

The BBCiD thing has been incredibly frustrating for me as a mobile user, frequently having to sign in repeatedly in one session.
So exciting!

What the h. Thank you Moderators for showing us the way to improve upon the moderation system.
Bye Auntie, we'll miss you.
Hello Not Panicking LTD, we'll learn to love you. If we do not already. And we are surely not panicking, just anxious.
The future looks so bright...
So exciting!

I'm still stunned and amazed. I've been gobsmacked all day that this has finally happened.
I'd like to think of something sensible to say, but words are failing me. *pinches self*
Isn't it all just too amazing!
So exciting!

Personally I could do without Barlesque, working or not. I'm only just coming to terms with Brunel...
