I got lost negotiating the London version of public transportation. Tell me that Manchester won't be harder to find things in.

If anyone does go to Manchester, I can definitely recommend the walking tour I and a few others took (it's grown, so tibtig has hired other guides, as well, so it's available 7 days a week now)--not only is the tour great, but, at least when I was there, there are a few maps available at the end.

There will indeed be a London Meet-up on the anniversary week-end. The main event will therefore be on April 27th. The rest of the details is being worked on as we type (or pretty much).

(Posting this everywhere the Meet is being discussed, to make sure as many people as possible see it!)

Who should I email a fresh copy of "me" to?

I see several options :
- You could wait and see who is able to attend.
(Might have to be a last minute thing, but then again, email is fast).

- You could post "you" on Facebook and ask for people to print "you" out.
We could then count the "you"s at the Meet.
Fun little game

- You could meet up with Baron Grim and hand "you" over to him.
Can't be that hard, you're in the same country.

Please do not send yourself to the Post. This might be tragic, as the Editor has no working printer.... It could be worse than a transporter accident.

Hm, as much as I'd love to meet up with BG, it's over 900 miles...

You can drive nearly 900 miles (877.5) one road and still be in Texas. (I10 from Orange to El Paso.)

Checked from Nashville - about 700 miles or 10 1/2 hours. Let me know if you want to stop by Still a lot closer than California.

I moved just a *bit* closer to the East Coast h2g2ers, Paul--'tis what NaJoPoMo's going to be about this year (I did look to see what airfare would be to London, and it's a lot less. Considering the fact that I've not yet gotten a job (testing for USPS next week), I doubt I could get time off...)
