h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

In anticipation of downtime and such like, I have dusted off my web site and provided several games you can play (if you have the appropriate flash player). The site also has all of the relevant h2g2 links (mentioned in the opening post) as part of the site menu, so you can use my site as a handy hub to co-ordinate you Hootoo activity during the changeover. It's all up and running, and I'm pretty sure the Host Papa servers will cope with the traffic. So feel free to pop along, bookmark or favorite it if you like, and generally enjoy.
The way things have been going around here lately, perhaps I'll post the link in the next posting. That way if it disappears you'll know what I was talking about.

MMF, the new h2g2 site is not available yet. When it is, you'll have to sign-in in a slightly different way, and then it will look just the same as it always did.

The s2g2 site is not h2g2, it is just a forum for people to hang around and chat while they're waiting. If you can't get on to it, don't worry, just keep your eye on www.h2g2.com for announcements.

Of all of the announcements, broadcasts and discussions, that is (in the end) the very simplest piece of advice to follow:

Just watch http://www.h2g2.com

And all will be well, in time. I have loads of faith in the core group and their efforts over so many months

h2g2.com still redirects to the bbc. Will the changeover have happened when that stops happening?
