That's because I stopped to wash off the nail polish you spilled on my shirt. Can't you do it somewhere else? The fumes are reacting with the gas to form a close deriviative of sodium pentathol... 
Oh, and his terminal is untraceable - he wasn't on long enough and he rerouted it to a lot of different servers. However, there is a record showing that someone logged on just 1 minute ago to the terminal named LabV1-x12, though he couldn't get su privileges because the passwords have been randomised.
