The Briefing Room

I've had an idea for the whole weapon/tech system. We have 3 options, A B and C (though if we want to be really different we could have X Y and Z). You can take one item from each option. Option A is basic weapons/tech such as a pistols, grenades, watch lasers etc. Option B then moves onto rifles (AK-47 etc) and tech like mini robots for scouting with. Option C is then specialised weapons (e.g. sniper rifle) and tech like personal cloacking shield.
Obviously those are just examples and aren't set in stone. People will then be able to substitute an Option B for 2 more Option A's, and an Option C for two more Option B's. (And yes, you can take 7 Option A's if you really want). Does that sound fair to everyone? I'm gonna go and start a thread where you can post ideas for weapons and gadgets and what group they should be in. Then we can discuss it and check nothing is too powerful. You will be able to change equipment between missions. We might also introduce classes which have equipment benefits (e.g. demolitions expert would have C4 as Option B while everyone else has it as Option C).

Im here, and I agree to everything y'all have said. However I have a question, When we start a mission, does absolutely everybody go? It could be easier to send a few at a time, considering the firepower yall are considering...I have no problem with yall's decision either way, Im just not always able to get on a computer...

good question, i'm not all too sure.
i think its understood that we all have lives outside hootoo, and that we dont psycicly know when a new mission has started....

Previously we've had people enter part way through. I think as long as you read the backlog and know whats going on you can join in midway as long as you get there in a reasonable way....no suddenly apparating or anything
Oh but of course Im only...something like 4th in command so what would i know

There is normaly something...
an alert that a mission has started gets posted here,
its a good idea to be subscribed to the page.

TBC Posted Oct 4, 2004
we might eventually start the Cell system up again if we get enough active members. Otherwise everyone will take part in all missions as usually only one or two are online and posting at once

About the assassins not doing anything. We've just been given a very big contract! We'll be going off tonight...although we're just hanging in the office right now because...we're important and can.

So not to break up the assasination attempt, but when do we get down to mission planning? I might be premature in my question though
