What about experiences of Telepathy between twins?

Shortly after an identical twin sister passed away her twin sister (my mother) fainted. Believing there to be something wrong with her sister she contacts her family to receive the bad news that she was already expecting.

I've also been told stories of pains being felt whilst the identical twin was in labour.

As a general non-believer in Telepathy can this not be explained as an example of Coincidence?

If its possible to build a working radio with a crystal, some wires and an earphone, I think it is far from inconceivable that the brain (which is after all about the most complex thing we know) can develop ways of doing the same...
I suspect it happens all the time, we just dont know it..

You can build a working radio receiver that way, which will receive the signal from a much more powerfull transmitter. The human brain cannot transmit such a powerfull signal and telepathy cannot be explained by current physics knowledge. There could be some unknown forces, or divine powers, but I don't think so. Add up all the experiences of all twins and you'll find it's all coincidence. Since that's a bit tricky to do you'll just have to trust I'm right.

Have you ever read Dreamlines by Bruce Chatwin ?
He reckons the Abo's in Oz can do it. They dont have a lot else to worry about, and live in close social groups..

Brains could transmit to the ether that could carry it to phone lines or something. Maybe?
