*Daedalus's encryption activates, and the power shuts off. Everything grows very still in the corridor, lit only by the occasional spark.*

Jade (Like a lithium flower just about to bloom... She's incredible math.) and Thras (the token dragon dæmon) Posted Dec 19, 2002
*after dodgling bullets, holding her breath from the seepeing poisonous gas, and being in general really bloody put off for being called "babe," Jade ignores the many warning bells (or whatever,) and flashing lights (once again, whatever,) and balletically kicks that marshall dude squarely in the jaw. (I'd imagine that he should be spitting out quite a few teeth at this point.)*
Jade: No one calls me "babe," muthaa. Let that be a lesson to you.
*Jade fishes her pink cell out of a pouch at her hip and dials Dædalus* Any chance of getting us outta here, D?

Fred Smith Posted Dec 19, 2002
*s back up to the group.* Sorry, that door closed before I culd get through. Do we have any idea of what's worth taking yet?

Daedalus Posted Dec 19, 2002
*Daedalus's voice crackles in.*
Getting out is not a possibility. The front doors were designed to flash-weld in a secrutiy breach, leaving a rather large titanium wall in your path. Security will be policed by humans later on, so be prepared for resistance.
As for technology, a pre-emptive search revealed a large number of cybernetic parts, most designed for large units, bordering on fourty metres tall and up. However, the technology is useful, and the parts should be able to be salvaged using your technology skills.
Thank-you for the nickname, Jade.
*Daedalus's face smiles on the small screen.*

Wargamer (The Wanderer) Posted Dec 19, 2002
I should point out that Marshal disappeared a while ago. The only non-villans currently here (to my knowledge) are those CGE guys, and a young secretary who's in the wrong place at the wrong time. Speaking of which...
*The girl looks up as the villans start to move away. She makes a mad dash to the door, only to find it's welded shut.*
[girl] No! Open! Please open!!

*Escapes from his binds*
Hi I've got an idea. I've just set my hand held rocket launcher to self destruct with a few rockets attatched in that room over there on the far wall in five minute. Hopefully it will give us another route out of here.
Okay everyone take cover

Mystrunner Posted Dec 19, 2002
Just want you to know that that won't work. You'll find a way out later.

Skullock Posted Dec 19, 2002
*After mucking about in the ductwork wile all the action was going Skullock kicks in a fentalation cover and drops into the room. Then strikes a red flare which tosses a wicked looking red light over his face, then he throws it towards the man with the droids.*
Ok guys now you can see'em.

*Craxus bleeding all over the place pulls his gun up and points it at Ranmafreak.*
I'll help you by putting you out of your misery. Only if you tell Ishard to drop his weapons and put them on the ground. Do this and I will spare your life.
*Craxus turns his nightvision augments on.*

*The first and last thing Craxus sees is a boot coming at his face, knocking him out. when he recovers, a few seconds later, Ranmafreak is missing...
Further away, a safe distance from the "villans".*
[Marshal] *To Ranmafreak* You alright now?
