h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

It is a shame that such a nice site like LEISUREDISTRICT has just closed down without saying anything and you cannot get on the New site without Telewest and paying them for priviledge,I am a N.T.L user and i already have to pay £7.50 per month for internet access and have now lost lots of freinds from LD that i chated to daily as someone who lives alone it was my access to the outside world.does anyone know when the new site will be up and running and if N.T.L users will beable to access it?

im afraid that the new site(yoome2) is only available for telepest customers at the moment. but dont worry, you arent missing much, cos hardly anyone is using it.
and it costs money!!!!.
stick to h2g2, its free and most of the users from ld are on here.
if you want a natter at anytime, feel free to message me.
i to lost a good ntl user friend, as i didnt have the opportunity to make alternative arrangements..
so we will all have to make new friends..

Hi all another ex LD user here i to lost quite a few friends when the changeover to yoome2 happened, i did manage to get my email address to those closest to me, i went onto yoome and i can confirm it is a total waste of time (unless your into cyber then its a haven)..so i also canceled my subscription to it. I have it on good authority that
LD is definately NOT coming back
and NTL will not be alowed access to yoome2..hope that clears up one or two questions for you all..keep in touch like to here from xLDers..Marc (DANDY-HIGHWAYMAN on yoome2 and LD)
