You surrender, we put on our page, you can attack again FAIRLY! sometime in the future. Simple.

Then if you surrender the battle at 3N, I will ask the Thingites to not attack you over the night, when you're defenseless
Fair?

Obviously, I meant 'for now' instead of now
But I can't tell you that they'll obey me. I'm a mere ambassador

I am a neutral observer, being neither a Thingite nor a member of the Terranic Army, but I think that the following points are valid.
With regards to the on-going argument over continuity - The TA declared war on the Thingites without a valid reason and then expected them to play by the TAs own rules? I think not.
By merely venturing into the "No, no, no" thread the TA would have discovered that the Thingites do *not* play by any rules and would have surmised that any attempt to make them do so would be futile. An army must know its enemy, and know its enemy well, before attempting an invasion or attack. The TA has not done it's homework and has only itself to blame for whatever may happen from here on in.
But as the TA *does* have rules and they *must* follow them. Failure to do so would automatically render any action against another party illegal. This leaves the TA in a very vulnerable position. It *must* follow its own rules, the Thingites need not follow them (unless the TA rules have been officially ratified by the Thingite Warlord).
Failure to comply would leave the TA open to prosectution by a hastily convened War Crimes Tribunal/Bar & Grill.
In closing I would like to say that I can see no way that the TA can possibly win a single battle, let alone the war. The best possible course of action would be for the TA to surrender now and we can all adjourn to the Bar for a well earned or two.

Now who can argue with that?
can I be on the war crime tribunal thingy?

I say Spook cannot argue unless he types something at least equally as long as that speech or it will be ignored.
I also agree and say that the Terranic army represents 'law' and the Thingites represent 'chaos'

The Continuity rules are not our rules, they are the war rules of h2g2. They were made years and years ago, when virtual battles were in their infancy. They were created so that people could fight in a fun battle fairly. If the Thingites refuse to abide by these war laws of h2g2, which could be taken to be the way to fight a Just War, then the Thingites will be known as the evil scum of h2g2, and h2g2 will unite against them and their evil forces. However, if the Thingites fight properly using continuity, then we will all have fun, have a great battle, and can all be friends afterwards.

You know I'd never heard of those rules, yet you're threatening us as being the scum of h2g2? Somehow I think you're over-dramatizing that...
