Yes spook, but give me a few hours. I'm full of a cold at the moment.
I would also like to discuss adding new ranks, esp. different ranks of general. Ideally I would like to have every regiment leader as some form of a general.
I'm going to set up a thread for discussing what activities people would like to get involved in, and with the Regiment Vs. Regiment idea, how they would like to do it.

Thats what I'm saying. You will no longer be a just a normal general but further up the ladder. Do you see where I'm coming from?

we may also want to look at regiment numbers. when we want to create a fourth regiment, and who should be in charge etc.

Hmmm... for others promoting others, there should be a certain rank at which you can begin to promote people who are at the bottom...
People five levels up can promote people to level one, six levels promote to level two, etc.

Mystrunner-absolutly, I think those in charge of various departments should be able to promote thoae under them, several of my MP's have excelled themselves and I couldn't reward them as Verc and Spook wern't around for me to appeal too.
Spook-you little rank-puller you, if you break the rules, any rules I can throw you in the Guardroom, what's the point of having rules if the rules don't apply to everyone, mutiny is a court martial offence and if found guilty you'll be in front of the firing squad *evil grin*
Verc Sir I don't want to tell tales but........... (silent evil laugh)
mwahahaha

looking at the spook/reefgirl situation would it not be a good idea to promote an mp to general status. that way no-one is above the law except for verc himself who is a field marshall. so what i am saying is that whatever the highest rank under verc be, the head of the mp's(reefgirl) should match it. this does not mean that all the mp's report to her only instead of their respective regiment leaders, just so as the mp's have the power to arrest the bigwigs. just a suggestion which i am also posting in the Terranic Activities thread.

hanks for the vote of confidence Creachy but I'm in enough trouble with Spook for being a Colonel, but we do need some clarification here Verc, do I have the power to arrest those of a higher rank if suspected of major wrong doing i:e mutiny
*places hand on heart*
I promise I won't arrest those I don't like and you have my undying loyalty Sir

creachy Posted Feb 26, 2003
it doesn't matter anymore, the whole army is being shook up so a high power in the mp's is a good idea while they are at it.

As much as I'd like to be the same rank as Spook he'll probably throw a tantrum as he can't pull rank with me anymore, anyway I think MP's do have the power to arrest senior officers, you could arrest me if I belted Spook, Mystrunner, Rimmer or Verc, it's up to Verc to clarify our position, hopefully that will be soon
