And so there we have it, the end of another season. And boy-oh-boy didn't riotact pull out all the stops in this final week. I've never seen anyone get seven results right in a row This, plus a host of correct scores and scorers and what-have-you, lifts him to an excellent total of 22 points for the week, and the league title by whopping 12 points!

Congratulations, sir! That was really well played (and now you've got yourself another -mat)

So, on to who gets the badge for play that has impressed me or made me laugh. That one is going to a player for their performance this final week.

Well done Demon Drawer, you've been decidedly average all season long; your team got relegated - a burden that you've carried with great fortitude - yet you still had it in you to come back at the last with 20 points and a leap 4 places up the table I was particularly impressed with the 5 scorer points that you picked up this week. That is more than anyone has ever achieved before.

Mind you I might just have come into form at just the right time. Roll off FF World Cup. Here's hoping I carry on the same group form I did last time into the knock out stages.

First of all, thanks yet again to GreyDesk for another highly entertaining competition. Your efforts are much appreciated.

Well done to riotact: a second successive title, clinched very impressively, and your third in all, which is a fine achievement. Well done too to Demon Drawer - clearly another rival I'll have to look out for next season.

I console myself with the knowledge that I've finished in the top three for the 13th time out of 15 seasons, and also finished one place higher than last season. Congratulations, riotact, but beware - next season I aim to go one better again!

first of all, i want to thank my mother and father, without whom none of me would have been possible.

i want to thank orcus and ormy for keeping me on my toes all season; it's no false modesty to say i really didn't believe i would win until i counted up the last day's results myself; before a 10-fixture day, the kind of lead i had was really nothing at all.

of course i want to join all of you in heaping gracious thanks on that old grey desk for giving us all this fun.

last, and certainly not least, thanks to all of you for your kind words, and congratulations everyone; when a competition can take place in such a spirit of good cheer and sportsmanship we are all winners. champers all around!
