Anyone else watching BBC Score and laughing hilariously at Garth Crooks' rant about Arsene Wenger?

Well, he scored, so that's one point.
I've been in Deutschland until this morning this week anyway, so I have an excuse for poot research.

I've often said that poots do not get thoroughly researched.

Three correct scores in four games and a correct scorer in the other with just the US game to come!! Might that be worth a badge, Mr Arbiter?!!

Although they cannot say it officially Livingston are on the point of being relegated for the first time under that name.
We are 9 points behind both Falkirk and Dunfermline after a dubious handled goal yesteday but with 21 goals to make up on Falkirk and 15 to Dunfermline it looks like we'll be making our first trip to Gretna next year.

Didn't the Dunfermline match kick off at 3.10 yesterday because your boys were late turning up?
It doesn't bode terribly well, does it?

If only Arsenal had managed to score one more goal, then there would have been points all round. Almost everyone picked Henry to score first, but he didn't. And one of those who went against the trend managed to pick up a full house on the back of that. Well done Master B
There was no change at the top of the table with all three leaders doing equally badly this week with 5 points a piece. What is this, end of season nerves or something?
And finally to our winner this week. Well done summerbayexile. Three correct scorelines help lift you to a very elegant 11 point victory

When will the Americans ever learn: there is only one statistic that counts - win, lose or draw?
the habit comes from baseball, the heart of the game is a series of confrontation between individuals, and at the end of a season or a career, statistics are the best way of judging performance. the basic statistics can be minced, crunched and crosstabulated ad infinitum, and paradoxically, some of the newer derived statistics are very interesting and compelling indicators of the game.
obviously football can't be appreciated the same way, which is perhaps why the sport has a hard time gaining popularity in the Untied Snakes.
