well, it would seem so, but they don't, actually
i read an article about a number of popular composers in earlier centuries that are now completely forgotten
and i remember the question: who will go down in history from our age? the beatles? bob dylan? abba? the bee gees?
only time will tell - an we'll not be around to hear it
maybe that is even a blessing?

my dilemma is the difficulty in wrapping my poor brain around a concept like "too many pints"
is there even such a thing
