No stories of my own, because you need a boyfriend before you can have romantic stories but my mum and dad have been together since they were 16, they're 46 nowsmiley - smiley

I think that's sweet.

Does it make me abnormal?

No, not at all!! I didn't mean to sound that way!! it's just that most people who are 17 (that I know) have had several boyfriends. In a way I think it's cool that you can be independent from males like that.

I guess it's just one of those things, some girls are naturally good at getting boyfriends...I'm not.

I certainly feel abnormal because of it, I'm likeone of the last people I know who hasn't...makes me feel very sad as I consider myself to be a nice, friendly person and I#d love someone to be romantic with.

I have been in love but it didn't work. I have been in love between one and three times (but definitely not two).

There is absolutely nothing abnormal about you, and moreover, there is absolutely nothing normal about love in that each person who experiences love -- really experiences it -- experiences something completely new, which no person has ever experienced before, or will ever again, which is why a love that ends can be so tragic. This basically means every time you fall in love you generate an entire new set of definitions for things.

I spent a great deal of time trying to express myself about this in a non-cliched way, which may have turned out to be a waste of effort, since there is no point trying to tell anyone else about it anyway, as they either won't believe you or pity the lack of depth to your experience, because, of course, it is fundamentally inexpressible and therefore inherently and inevitably inadequately expressed.

I'm running out of stack memory.

I have also decided that I have recently become too cynical about this and am emptying the ash-cans of my mind. Some services may fail to initialize during this process. Why not eat more dietary fibre?

Why not eat more dietary fibre?

...because...

nope not even I'm prepared to go into that one.

and I know I'm not abnormal, I'd just like to know why if you tell some people the fact that you're 17 and haven't had a boyfriend means that you've got REJECT stamped on your forehead.

That's Reverse EJECT.

It's your control for people who annoy the crap out of you for treating you like a freak if you're seventeen and have never had a boyfriend. They hit the R EJECT button and you kick them downstairs backwards.

Nigle Marvin is a British nature documenternist, I stay up late to watch his shows and my family always makes fun of me for it. I don't really love him. I don't think I've ever been in love. Sorry if I made you uncomfortable by saying that smiley - erm
