I have sort-of a romantic storey, but it dosen't really count because we are friends. But I'll tell it anyways.
My best friend,jeff, and Iare really close. he is the greatest guy in the world!!! He comes to all my track meets, he helps me when I'm feeling down, and he always makes me laugh. We are both into some odd music, and that's one of the reasons we became friends. For my birthday, he made me a tape of all our favorite songs, with him DJing through it all.On the very last
track, he recorded a song he wrote about us. Not only did he do his, but he threw me a suprise party to give it to me. Like I said, he is the greatest guy in the world (to me atleast)

he has been the sweetest guy to me!!! I'm just not sure if I want to ruin our friendship. Plus, he has this girl who really likes him but hates me cuz he likes me. When she found out about the party, she got really mad at me and started going nutt'so punching me and stuff, she got suspended but she still freaks me out...that kind'a puts a damper on the whole situation...

I know what it's like to be on the end of the whole..."I don't want to ruin the friendship trip" that makes you feel worst.

Guy i fancied for ages and considered one of my best friends was asked out by a friend for me - which i didn't ask for - he started being really coy with me and I asked my friend what was wrong with him and she confessed that she'd asked him out for me, saying I really fancied him and he'd said no because although he really wanted to he didnt' want to ruin the friendship...

I was crushed but releaved and exteremely flattered that he considered me such a good friend that he didn't want to ruin it...still hurt though, and made me consider all the reasons why he wouldn't have wanted to date me.

Yeah, it can make a person insecure. But it's great that you have such a true friend.
I've also never snagged jeff because he's never actually asked me out (one more reason I beleive we are just friends) and I'm to shy to ask even if i did want to ask.

Okay, what was the best gift someone's ever given you or could ever give you, in a romantic sense?

The sweetest gift I've ever gotten from a lover is a box of candy. For holloween, my boyfriend of two weeks, gave me a box of smarties(a very cheep candie, that happend to be my favorite) and mixed in with the smarties were dum-dums ( a brand of suckers).My boyfriend (now ex) didn't get to good of grades and he would always tell me how smart I was compaired to him. At the bottom of the box i found a note that made some cute little joke about how he was a dumm-dumm and I was a smartie but that tgether we were a sweet combination (I forget the exact words). It was cheesey, but very sweet . How about the rest of you guys????

the sweetest gift I've ever been given was a bunch of pink roses from my mum on my 17th

sweetest thing someone *could* give me would be a tape of music they've made specifically for me...that or just be willing to sit out in the cold and look at the stars with me.
