Fetish clubs tend to cater for particular fetishes, some such as the babies can be great fun.
It is interesting to note however that most seem to go for about 3 years then stop - when you dig a bit deeper i think you may find that the scene in general can be very hard - with most of those involved after one thing and one thing only - their own pleasure.
That said, i feel that fetish clubs in general are much needed - perhaps everyone should go at least once -

Thank you all for kind words. A one off experience for me methinks...great to be an observer but a lifestyle choice...perhaps not. I agree with all your comments and having known the ex owner of 'Erotic Review' (who has now moved on to a non sexual publication for the over 50's') think that it is about 'a time and place' in life, and yes, having done some research, the 'Sex Maniacs Ball', now called 'Night of the Senses' still exists as does the 'Rubber Ball', neither of which I suspect I will attend but interesting nevertheless! Am currently at college as a very old student doing an MA in writing for screen and theatre and all my life experiences including this bizarre one have been invaluable.

Berties' comment was interesting - there is a self-absorbed feeling that comes through. I mean in the participants, not the writer.

The sex maniacs ball is usually very interesting - its possible to meet and spend time with very unusual people, and learn a lot. it covers an extremly wide spectrum, in fact pretty much everything.
The rubber ball however is more a fashion show, or usually is.
Huge loudspeakers throbbing away - If youre brave, hearing protection equipment can make it even pleasant.
The main thing though is to be honest, are you having fun?
