is Coronation Chicken on fresh bread. Very unhealthy!
I also have a soft spot for the sandwiches my Mum makes, but nothing ever tastes like your mum's sandwiches!
Roast beef and horseradish too! I feel sooo hungry now!

Actually now I come to think of it, ploughman's lunches are nice.
But then again fresh fresh white bread with unsalted butter!

My favourite toasted sandwich is a calorie-defying crispy bacon and peanut butter (known as a "graveyard")
My Mum's salad sandwiches are the best things on sliced bread!!!

Bleeeeechhh! Vegimite. Suppose its an aquired taste.
I like many flavours in my piece, but will return again and again to the humble cheese piece, you just cant beat it

Has to be Brie and Crispy Bacon in a Baguette - fresh cooked so the Brie becomes all melty.
Blend a , Banana and Canteloupe Melon smoothy and you have the perfect post cycle grub

I tend to buy ready-made sandwiches from supermarkets. Brie and salad is nice, Boots do a nice line in weird sandwiches (tuna and pesto on olive bread, anyone?). I have to admit having a soft spot for Pret a Manger's crayfish and rocket sarnies, too, but they are ridiculously overpriced, so I rarely buy them. If I have the time, I like to make a stonking, huge BLT on fresh bread. Nothing better.

My mouth is watering from nearly all the previous suggestions - but my favourite standby has to be Marmite. I had Marmite sandwiches every day when I was at school & never tired of them.

I'm also rather partial to Tesco's prawn & avocado in wholemeal bread if I've shopped when I'm hungry.

Oh and I love egg mayonnaise sandwiches. Eggs are generally great for quick & filling lunches (working at home).
That's really all from me now.

Turkey and crispy bacon on a crusty white french stick (from Giovanni's on Oxford Street in Manchester) is fandabbydozie!
Sadly, overindulgence in the above (amongst other things - my h2g2 nickname is a giveaway) mean that my lunch - and my breakfast - are currently a can of Slimfast.
