Yes, quickly try again. The Flaming Lips are just wonderful. I challenge you to listen to 'The morning of the magicians' on 'Yoshimi' without almost crying. If you're into punk, their older weirder stuff might appeal to you too; 'The day they shot a hole in the jesus egg' is impressively daring to put it one way.

I just found Flaming Lips a little uninspiring, especially in comparison to some other bands I've listened to like them.

Yeah, I think it's pretty much the best moment in film when The Pixies fade into Fight Club and play Where Is My Mind as all the skyscrapers collapse.
I always forget how good Ok Computer was; I need to remember to listen to it more.
