I know that a disproportionate part of bodily heat is lost through the head. Maybe that's where they got the idea.

Wearing it of course
It's a jacket I have to wear at work when I'm packing bags, so that people can see me and holler me over...

As in "holler, is there anybody out there?"? Yes, I know the two question marks look odd, but it's punctuationally correct.
Where is everybody?

Da Doc is here as usual, after a severe day yesterday at the beer fest!

Toxxin Posted Oct 20, 2002
Hi Noggin. The beer fest cometh but once a year; and I ain't been since about '97 so it's a good excuse to get wrecked. Must check yer link. I'm all loose ends.

Me again Nog. I've said my piece to the girl called Ben. A bit radical I guess, but since it's early days in her project, when better? I have to say that I wonder if I'm too much of an academic to make suggestions about such a project. Maybe it's OK at some level. I can't try to dumb myself down to Mickey Mouse versions of things. Why should I. If FwT can cope, surely other youngsters can too. Can you advise, I'm confused?

Actually I was just sending you to the problem of evil thread. But obviously you picked up the project link. If there's some particular aspect of that you feel like writing a peice on you'll need to discuss it with Ben. Otherwise the contributions will be up for discussion before inclusion. It's generally a non-polemical project, as it's not about particular beliefs, but rather about belief in general. Give it a thought, and if you're in doubt drop a post on my personal space.

Belief is fine by me, Noggin, because I'm a cognitive psychologist by PhD. Have a philosophical angle too, of course. Must surf back to the problem of evil, but the I've done it to death in the past I guess. Still, there's possible mileage there. Thanks for the steer anyway.

Do psychologists do pigeon holing? Never featured in the course I took. Explain what you mean FwT. Sounds like a kinda daft thing to do, to me. Humbug, humbug!

Toxxin Posted Oct 20, 2002
Do please pay attention FwT. I explicitly said that you DON'T require a Mickey Mouse version of the arguments - so why should anyone else. Doh!

friendlywithteeth Posted Oct 20, 2002
I was wondering if you'd notice that
And why should I explain myself: do you require a MM version of my arguments?
FwT: Poking fun, and probably a source of great annoyance

Ohmigosh, I thought that they were already MM versions. Oops! Soz, just poking fun!
