just because he two are completely different in meaning doesn't mean that the two cannot ave linguistic similarities.

As fan of DNA, you must know that the English language must evolve, and things that exist but do not have a word or widely used expression to fit them must have those words and phrases invented. Bastardess makes linguistic sense, so I'll stick with, even if it isn't in the Oxford English Dictionary.
