A Conversation for The Rolling Rock Ranch

Madam I do rather believe that it is traditional in these parts to "keeps those doggies rolling" followed by an exclamatory gesture "rawhide" which I believe pertains to the state of ones derriere following a day in the saddle.

*idly wonders if AMCJ was kicked in the head, being that his last statement made NO sense whatsoever*
The Pass
Coniraya Posted Jul 18, 2002
*peering out through tumbleweed*
Oh dear, I do wish I could see what is going on.
Do you think its safe to remove this stuff now, Witty?
Its awfully itchy stuff.

Munchkin Posted Jul 18, 2002
*Attempts to disengage himself from charred tumbelweed and playful dogs, neither of which is particularly easy. Evetually staggers up muttering, "Shot in the wallet, lost my hat, set on fire and I've not had a decent bath in ages". Spies the gates of the Ranch.*
Ah, jolly good, we seem to be here now. So, where was it that radio message said Lil was? A church or something? *To AMCJ* So, where would we find that? Talk and I'll think about letting you down from the horse.

Now then Munchers, you know what we used to do to tell tales at school eh ... I've no desire to see the fish again what ! I do believe that if you just mosey on down to the Ranch House and knock on the door they'll be some chaps who can help you out with your enquiry there.

*hears the Blues Bros mentioned*
I love the Blues Brothers, must go to the show next time it comes around, haven't been to one for nearly 10 years!

Witty Moniker Posted Jul 18, 2002
I think we are out of immediate danger, Caer.
*Starts picking the tumbleweeds off of herself, which is not easy because they've become stuck to the jello slime that is stuck to Witty.*
Ewwww. I ~really~ want a hot shower.

Garius Lupus Posted Jul 18, 2002
*Also removing tumbleweed.*
Well, we have to cross the pasture, then we are at the ranch buildings. I can just see them, way in the distance.

*picking tumbleweed off herself and Bonnie*
Ahhh that's so much better!
*looks round to see a somewhat singed Munchkin and supresses a at the sight of AMJC hanging upside down*
I think another refreshement break would be a good idea when you think it's appropiate, GL. Just to gather our wits ready for the next stage.

I don't think we want to be too long, what with us being in this canyon and all. Its all a bit too Light Brigade for my liking. A quick cuppa and then off eh?
*Tries to dust himself down with his handkercheif, but it is a lost cause*
The Pass
Coniraya Posted Jul 18, 2002
*quickly makes a fire out of some of the tumbeweed and gets the kettle on to boil*
*gives Bonnie and Clyde a bucket of water each and puts small bowls out for the pugs and a larger one for Zeppo*
(and for those that prefer it) will be ready in no time

Munchkin Posted Jul 19, 2002
I think a small would do me wonders. All this dust and burnt tumbleweed has fair dried out my throat.
The Pass
Coniraya Posted Jul 19, 2002
*passes Munchkin and watches tehanimals drinking their water*
I think this arid air has made us all rather thirsty, I'm surprised those jellos can survive without melting away or drying up!
