Digibox... I think Prettywoman's net access is via a cable TV hookup, where you get limited internet access via your TV screen. Making certain things we take for granted using a PC a lot more difficult...
As far as I can see, they can't directly type URLs and have memory limitations on the boxes, meaning that a lot of longer threads 'time-out' before loading.

Gnomon - time to move on

Your entry is removed from the Writing Workshop. I didn't do it - you must have done it yourself without realising. Now it is just a normal entry belonging to you. You can delete it by editing it and then clicking on the delete button near the bottom of the editing screen. You can also change the contents or the title by editing it.

pete must of removed it

Amy the Ant - High Manzanilla of the Church of the Stuffed Olive

I gave _prettywoman_ a link in another thread to remove the entry from the WW. It must have worked but perhaps she didn't realise it because the old WW page was cached by her machine. The trick here is to reload the page after removing the thread.

I'll provide working removal links to anyone else having trouble if they leave a message for me. The link provided on the page is only prevented from working by the popup alert that asks you if you really want to remove the entry.

Emmily: smiley - erm We scouts can't actually move threads around either, sorry... however, as Amy said, if someone asks I can always post the remove link in a conversation so that they can click on it...

Amy: Snap smiley - winkeye (see post 17) I was originally worried that posting the link like that would let anyone and their dog remove a thread from a review forum - but I tried it out yesterday and it seems to work just for the author.

Hi Whisky

Sorry, I hadn't read the backlog. I gave _prettywoman_ the link yesterday in another thread.

I was worried about who could remove articles too. But it's OK, it only works for the legitimate author. smiley - smiley
