hi ppl this is about LD and the ppl who dont let us have fun part2
the gov aint listening to our complaints they seem to be ignoreing us for some reason
and 6050 has been replaced with 4790
and the whole site seems like a ghost site now all my old gang seem to have all dispeard too cos the nasty ppl of LD are abusive towards us nice users
i think thegov should ban ppl
or better still twest take your box away mind you the nasty 1's probley get a
pc and start again
on us honest and fun 1's again

why cant all us nice LD users have some fun and a laugh
i tell you why the worms are out there making out LD a plug hole for there filthy mouth and abusive behaveour
they put us good 1's to shame and give LD a bad NAME

You know Gnomon - I'm beginning to think that LD stands for Leisure District, and that this is one of those many Telewest-users that have somehow found their way here - posting as if you're in a chat room seems to be something they have in common...

pretty woman, you can indeed write what ever you like on h2g2 provided it's not libelous or defametory etc. but it would be better if it was posted in the right place. writting workshop is really a place to work on entries that you want to get into the edited guide,a and therefore not exactly suitable for personal rants.

try posting it somewhere else and not using 'shorthand' and you might get a more productive response!

prettywoman, I have plenty of manners. I have been polite to you throughout this discussion. It is not impolite to say that I don't understand you. I never said anything about "ruining" anything, as you will see if you read what I wrote. I couldn't follow the link that Titania posted because the people who run (not ruin) my company do not allow me to. This is nothing to do with h2g2.

People would understand you much better if you wrote in English like most people here. There is no reason to use abbreviations, as there is no limit on the size of your postings.

If you want to remove your entry from Writing Workshop, go to the Writing Workshop page by clicking on the link "Writing Workshop" at the top of this page. There you will see a list of some of the entries in the Writing Workshop. Beside your entry you will see the word "Remove". Click on this.

Firstly, if you read the previous postings you will find that no-one, with the exception of yourself, has even mentionned the word 'Ruin'.

Secondly, no-one has questionned the ownership of H2G2 in the slightest. I suspect you've misunderstood a comment by Gnomon saying that Leisure District is considered "unsuitable" by his company...

All this means is that the company who employs him has a filter system in place to limit employees access to the internet. This, in effect, allows access only to certain "approved" sites. Thus cutting down on internet surfing during office hours (Most of these filters allow the BBC to be accessed as it is considered a valid research tool - little do they know we all spend our time playing on H2G2 ).

Nobody in this thread has shown the slightest "attitude", you have posted this entry into a location specifically designed for people to comment on other researchers work and to help improve it for inclusion into the edited guide. Hence the reason several people have made comments about the style of writing - This is, after all, the 'Writing Workshop'.

If you wish to remove this piece from the Writing Workshop, simply click ont the conversation header at the top of the page (Entitled Writing Workshop), look down the list of conversations at the bottom of the page and you'll find this one (entitled "A 748604 -"). On the right hand side of the line you'll find a button named 'remove', if you press this button then this conversation will be moved out of the Writing Workshop and back to the bottom of the entry itself.

Did you find the "Remove" link that we are talking about? If you clicked it and the entry wasn't removed, then there's something wrong with h2g2. It might be worth reporting a problem.
