Aha! I've just remembered that it was my hubby's quote (the poor old chap!), which would explain a lot...
*Surveys the Leaning Tower appearance of Ralph's pile of crates*
Err Ralph? Is that lot safe like that?

Probably not, but if I spread them out any more I won't be able to get to the beer cooler at all & if they do fall It'll probably just be on me which won't do any great damage. Or were you implying that some of them should be put in the appropriate areas?

I could use some of that vodka as rubbing alcohol! Anyone for a back massage?
*flambés remaining bananas on the grill*
Front massage?
*liberates a cold Bikers Best from RtJ's crates*

*Gets bored of posing and preening, and grabs a bottle of vodka. He pours himself a large quadruple vodka and pulls open a can of red-bull*

*finally removes the upturned mostly-empty bottle of vodka from his lips*
Vodka and Red Bull...crikey! The last time I drank that was in Rockhampton. I remember dancing madly to teeny-bopper music in a seedy Rocky nightclub packed with nubile young hicks and looking down to find my fly was open. Hmmmmmmm...better stick to plain vodka. Salut!

My preferred tipple mate. Gets you drunk, keeps you up all night. I deal for a party animal like myself...

What was I doing that I should stop? I thought that beer was for drinking? Or should I stop helping to unload the truck? I have it! I should stop being sarcastic & get to serious drinking! I'd love to, had my bike on the road for one day & it's down again. Wish I could afford a new(er) one!!!!

Caer, no tuna, I'm afraid, but I do have some nice Red Roman or Cape Rock Cod from the (cold) Atlantic side of Cape Town!
I'll pop some on fer you! Garlic and herbs or lemon-butter basting? Black pepper?
*Chases VodkaRedBull with a good *
Ralph - yer right! Beer is for drinking, mate!

Coniraya Posted May 9, 2003
Is that Cape Rock or Rock Cod? I'm suspicious of anything that has rock in front of it fishwise, as rock salmon is a posh name for catfish here.
Garlic and herbs sounds delish with a couple of twists of black pepper, yum!
Some well chilled Pouilly Fumé would go well with that.

Hi Hel2
Why not, it appears there is some beer and vodka here. That'll have to do for now, but when she appears, I'll ask the landlady to get in some of Somersets finest.
ps, we'd better leave some payment, I've heard it's not good to get in her bad books.
