Take-it-away!
Mystrunner Posted Nov 22, 2002
You've really worked hard on this, Mr. L. I've never seen such pathetic orcs in my life. You should be proud.

Oh, he is, believe you me...

Mr. Legion Posted Nov 22, 2002
They are pretty feeble, aren't they? I should have known that having them trained by Montessori teachers was a bad idea. Whenever I looked into the barracks, they seemed to be doing finger-painting or having group hugs Okay, they may be emotionally-frail and pitifully easy to kill. But I like to think they're fully-rounded individuals, at least, not monosyllabic thugs.

Mystrunner Posted Nov 23, 2002
More or less... better than thugs, yes. But no van goh... with the exception of that one painting over there.

Who knew that the starry night was done with finger-paints?
Take-it-away!
Mystrunner Posted Nov 25, 2002
Certainly not me. But it does look very pretty.
*Gives to orc. It grins, eats a tube of paint, and continues.*

*Whips orc, raises hand threateningly*
Back to work, you slime! In the old days, you'd have been guarding a bridge, so don't get lazy now! We have to finish the Van Goghs, and start on the Turners for this afternoon.
Take-it-away!

Legion! They aren't machines you know.
Take-it-away!
Odo Posted Nov 26, 2002
I don't know if it's just me but the colour choice for that painting is a little unusual. The lurid green gives a sort of 'pickled gherkin' feeling to the scene.

And who thought to contrast gherkin green with aquamarine blue?

*throws a sandwhich at a nearby orc and smirks at its confusin when it hits it on the head*

*Suddenly, a capercaille appears out of nowhere*
*It vanishes again*

Mr. Legion Posted Nov 28, 2002
A capercaille?
*Decides to bluff*
Ah of course, a capercaille. Ahem. We had a problem with those down the bottom of our garden once. Nasty blighters.

Anachronism Posted Nov 28, 2002

You throw them over the hedge, of course. By their hair.
...or perhaps that was garden gnomes. I don't know. *shrug*
