riotact : like a phoenix from the ashes Posted May 28, 2004
i never considered myself a computer person. as an atheist i didn't believe in the devil but considered internet as the next worse thing.
when western civilization reached the point where not having a computer was like eating without forks, i bought an iMac. why? limited space. the configuration and aesthetics made it the "bécane" of choice for the parlor corner.
since then i've come around, thanx in part to folke like y'all. my little G3/350/9.0/56k at home is as pleasant as the monster pc setup i have at work. now, to X, or not to X, that is the question. iyo?

I like X way better than 9.0, but it sometimes doesn't run right on the older computers. Anyone else know any better?
