Nice! In my intoxicated state I noticed a few mistaes, and can remember a couple:

Towards the end: 'And though many people may some to a Def Leppard show to see' should probably be 'come' rather than 'some'

owards the beginning: 'at the age of only 15,' doesn't really need the 'only', but that's a personal style thing.

I love the entry, and used to love DL. I think I've still got the front page of the Daily M*il from the day after Steve Clarke died somewhere. I was seriously gutted.

Nice entry about someone a lot of people have forgotten about.

The allegations of domestic violence, to which he appears to have pleaded guilty, must surely be of some biographical importance. (It's the only thing I knew about him other than that he had one arm, prior to reading this entry!)

Yes, all very good. I can't say that I'm a great fan of the band, despite living in the Crookes/Walkley area of Sheffield for many years, where they are of course considered as local lads done good.

What I'd want to see is much more detail about the specifics of the accident, as it is really the pivotal event for this entry. Well I've done a bit of digging, and I've got a few sources for you.

Hey 177704, do you have any other information on the accusations of domestic violence? The site you linked to was vague. I know Rick talked about it on VH1's "Behind the Music" episode about the band, but my copy of it is currently at a friend's house, unretrievable until Christmas....
Any help finding info would be greatly appreciated!

I've looked on the internet and have found quite a few websites that repeat the allegation, including an interview where Allen appears to confirm it himself. However, I don't think any of the ones that I've found so far are either reputable or stable enough to act as evidence for the inclusion of the allegation in the entry.

I would agree that this entry doesn't need to mention the domestic violence. It doesn't seem relevant in the given context.

It would however round off his bio (domestic violence), showing him from all sides, as a typical human being. I think this is important. He's neither a saint nor is he perfect - still he's admirable for some things he did.
