Lady Scott, if breakfasts had to be cholesterol-
laden, I wouldn't be allowed to eat them.
Coffee, fruit, and cereal (and skim milk) is all
that I ever have for that meal. Besides, my
stomach rebels at anything heavier. Always been
that way.

Second point: If the hotel has a swimming pool, it
seems a shame not to make use of it at least once
during the weekend.

Third point: Clive sounds like my kind of guy.
I spill everything, so I always need a saucer
under my cup. And a table-protector to keep
the solid stuff at bay.

I know.. last time I went to Lyndon Diner for breakfast with a friend, I had a hard time finding anything on the menu that wouldn't make me sluggish all day.... they do have some lighter stuff on the menu - the cereals and such, plus a couple of fruit based breakfasts. (I personally have resorted to oranges and apples for breakfast most of the time, but today I splurged - plain strawberries in plain yogurt - it was delightful!) I've heard the cholesterol laden breakfasts called "men's breakfasts", but I know few men who dare eat them on any kind of regular basis.

Yes, the motel has a pool, so you guys should all enjoy it while you're there!

Maybe you'd prefer a buffet? In that case, I'd reccomend Eat'n'Park, just up the road from the motel... and close to the highway we'll need to get on to go to Hershey.....

Here's a smiley - flan, just for you!

Chocolate World twice? Sure! As you said, free smiley - choc at the end! Not to mention the HUUUUUUUUUGE chocolate store you have to walk through to get out. smiley - biggrin

Now all we have to do is work out the times. Such as *when* to meet in that annoying spot to block in the lobby. How early do peeps want to get up? When is that Continental breakfast, so we can work around it?

Off to look at picnic menu threads, etc. . . .

I have no idea what time the continental breakfast begins..... Not that it matters for me because I'm an In Towner...

I'm an early riser - almost always up by 6am, usually no later than 5:30.

I would imagine that's just a wee bit early for the rest of you?smiley - bigeyes

Not that it matterssmiley - laugh My girls would never get up that early!

So.... just pick a time mutually agreeable to the rest of you....

And I'm used to being an early riser, too... Just keep in mind that my body clock will insist that it's 3 hours earlier, though!

Actually, since I'll be taking the red-eye flight (tomorrow!!!) and that layover's in the middle, I'm going to try not to nap after I land in New York, so I can get to sleep early on Friday... Just someone tell me what to set my alarm to Saturday!

Amy, I just figured out that Zak is some
kind of a duck. Are you *sure* he is capable
of driving a van? Or was that a joke? smiley - winkeye

(Okay, it was a joke, which I didn't get
because I thought he was somebody's three-year-old
or the eighth dwarf, or something like that smiley - cross.
This place is notorious for in-jokes anyway smiley - erm)
