A Conversation for The h2g2 Doctor Who Group
Where's the post episode discussion thread gone?

Hello,
I've been looking at the group conversations. Where's the post-episode thread gone? Only I'm sure there are some other Who fans out there who don't want to read the spoilers but would quite like to discuss last night's episode. I know there was a lot of bother last time with people putting spoilers in the thread. I hope it hasn't gone because of that.
If I'm just being daft and can't find the thread could someone point me in the right direction?
Kaz

I think it was this one: http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/h2g2/brunel/F79498?thread=4022878 But that was, I think, to avoid genuine spoilers rather than phantom spoilers. There's a big Dr Who conversation in Ask that discusses the current series.

Is the main current thread.
I dunno, I kinda like there being some Who chat on what is for hootoo the "High Street".
Whilst this group is Ace, do we really want "Ask?" to be a Who free zone?

Maybe that thread can be archived here once the current series is over?

That's a good idea. I just thought it was really confusing having it over in ask h2g2..
Smij, on a different point, do you know what is going to happen to the comments and suggestions made by researchers on the thread " What next for h2g2?", which appeared on the front page a couple of weeks ago?

Traveller in Time with a more on topic question
"Are the two doctors and the other Sontaran episode going to be repeated anywhere in the near future ?
Last thing I heard was smij worked in the BBC archives, probably sorting the Lost Episodes.
Better ask questions pointing to the h2g2 site on Editorial or even ask "

Fraid I don't know anything about that. I've not actually been a member of staff on h2g2 for about 18 months.

With the release of Invasion of Time earlier this month, they're now all available on DVD. UK Gold was running 'classic Who' in repeat slots last year, but they were taken off to avoid clashing with the new series so they might return once the current series has ended, which would take them past 'The Two Doctors'.
... and you can see what I've been working on recently at bbc.co.uk/archive. We're in the process of redesigning that portal to include some of the other projects we've done in the last year, and make it easier to add new collections of programmes, photos and items from the written archives.

They've got the Sontaran one in Woolworths if that's any good to you.

BBC has released a Sontaran dvd box set of the four 'classic' Who adventures they featured in. Not sure if it's good value compared to buying them individually or not.
