Give the cat a pill

I completely agree that it is almost impossible to keep a pill in a cat.
We smetimes held his mouth closed for twenty minutes to force him to swallow, but he still spitted it out!
Spitting??? Spitting on h2g2 ???
The best solution, and in the end also the cheepest, is to go to the vet, who manages it in two seconds flat!

Pills-schmills - you should try to give a cat ear-drops that you have to kind of massage into all corners of the ear PLUS you have to make sure that the drops stay in the ear for at least 2-5 minutes ...
I don't actually recall giving my cat pills, but I recognize the situation anyway: I once had to force-feed my baby daughter some horribble german, artificially flavoured liquid penicillin. I smelled of the damned stuff for days
Excellent entry BTW
