Silly Willy Posted Jan 1, 2002
I've already signed-up Could I add my sister and a friend of hers to the list?
And also, is anything happening about food or do we just grab some when we can?
Thanks

Is there still time for me to sign up?

I'm not really here Posted Jan 2, 2002
They'll be time for people to sign up right until the time we all say goodbye and go home in the early hours of the 27th. You just might not get your name on the list if you leave it that late.

Peta Posted Jan 2, 2002
Sure, Sillywilly. Can you give us nicknames or names for them please, then we can add them to the list? Thanks!
We'll be providing a few bar snacks during the evening, but you'll have to buy your own food. We suggest that everyone eats before they get to the pub, because the pub won't be selling meals or sandwiches in the evening over the bar. Logistically it's just getting too difficult to feed such a large number of people in a limited area with a limited number of bar staff and h2g2 staff.

The Ghost of Polidari Posted Jan 3, 2002
Nothing ventured.....
Stick me down as a possible as :
1) I'd like to come.
2) But I'm meant to be flying to India a day or so later.
3) Unless they start using guns and bombs and things.
4) But I'll try and be there anyway.
5) Though I won't know anyone.
6) And I'll be thinking about packing.
7) And riding elephants.
8) And boat rides on the Ganges....
9) And I'll probably get lost.
10) Or miss my train.
Almost 100% will be there
C Hawke Posted Jan 5, 2002
At this stage, after much arm twisting by Pegasus looks like I'll be making my first meet.
Hopefully, time may be pushed as I have to et to friends on outskirts of London 1st before train journey in.
But, unless you hear otherwise. I'll be there.
I think

Looks like I wont but miracles do happen. I will do my absolute best to drag Yael over to london this summer, so count on me for the summer meet
Because it is winter now and cold now and wet and rainy now, we might be going to somewhere hotter then London, maybe even go to the carebians Lookout hot weather, here we come... *Dancer points forward and starts ranning westwards in the general direction of Bora-Bora"

I hadn't realised until quite recently that this is the same day as the FA Cup 4th round. Now as the Blades have just stuffed Notts Forest, and depending upon tomorrows draw, I may have a hard decision to make
Almost 10% will be there

Well, keep us posted on your decision. We need all the dirty minds we can get.
