smiley - cheerup For Taff.
If the BBC-iD open-ID thingy would work, meaning you log in to the BBC-iD, could you still view h2g2 after the move? Would it technically be possible to make the browser think it goes to the BBC and then be forwarded transparently to the new site? Something to test before we start a write-in campaign.
OTOH it might generate enough of a fuss to make some headlines. smiley - winkeye

Here's smiley - goodluck hoping it will work for you after the move Taff.

kea ~ Far out in the uncharted backwaters of the unfashionable end of the western spiral arm of the Galaxy lies a small, unregarded but very well read blue and white website

H2g2 and the bbc will be completely separate and have completely separate login systems.

I think the other problem is that if we smiley - erm reroute Taff, if he got caught then the consequences would be a bit more severe than a telling off or a slapped wrist smiley - yikes

I know it's maybe not much of a comfort Taff but lots of people have putting there minds to how to get you works access

Well, I mostly just lurk here, with the odd facetious comment thrown in, but I still really enjoy this place, and I am very much aware of the hard work that Z and gang have put into keeping the site going. I can't afford these fancy cocktails that everyone else is throwing around, butsmiley - alesmiley - alesmiley - alesmiley - alesmiley - alesmiley - cheerssmiley - cheerssmiley - alesmiley - alesmiley - alesmiley - alesmiley - alesmiley - ale

This is just brilliant!! THANK YOU to Nick, and Sam, and Robbie, and the Zens and all the rest of the h2g2c2 Crew! Noesis looks like an interesting group, as well, seems like they should be a good fit for our brand of "unique".

I've been sitting here grinning my face off, at this news and happy to see all the old researchers who've shown up to celebrate...this is just so awesome!

I'm going to have to polish up my writing skills... smiley - smiley
