Peta Posted May 26, 2004
Hi All,
For those that have said the service is slower than normal...
I'm told that the reduced speed issues you're currently experiencing are temporary, the database is rebuilding. The speed should get back to normal, or perhaps even be better than normal, shortly.
So bear with it, better soon!

You'll say anything just to keep away from !
Peta - I'll ask you since you're around, how soon can we reasonably hope for something to remove old messages from our spaces?

Nah, I'm trying to delete old messages people have left for me (2 to be precise, which are meaningless!)

Very sweet of you, VIP and I'm sure Jim Lynn will apreciate the hug - but I'm not Jim Lynn; I'm the *other* Jim. The one who's under my desk

But I found a bit of fluff down there...
It was my friend...
Seriously though, we're looking into the many issues people have been raising over the last few days, and we'll be endeavouring to work out exactly what's gone wrong where, and how we might be able to fix things. It looks like we might be able to do more upgrades in the near future, and inevitably there'll be moments where we're fixing things as much as adding new stuff. That's all part and parcel of being part of an exciting experimental concept like DNA.

How soon will everything be normal again? I just got a lot of
"NOT IMPLEMENTED
The server is unable to perform the method at this time."
messages
Or is that considered normal until the next upgrade?
