Eeek! A morning's crash course in "how to use h2g2" and there's already loads of messages welcoming me! I mean, the italics said you were all very friendly, but this is quite overwhelming!
Jokes? Eeeple! Be gentle with me everyone - it's my first time today!
Please forgive me if I'm not around too much straight away, but this is my first day using DNA too, so it'll inevitably take me a little while to get my head around things. Added to that, I'm also going to try to write my first entry over the next day or so, so please bear with me!

Don't worry about DNA, you'll soon get the hang of it and if not there are plenty of helpful people who will explain how to do things 
Even if you are staff the ACE's welcome you received will probably have some handy hints in it too.
At the end of the day it doesn't matter how long it takes you to get the hang of the interface, that you get to know the community and settle in is more important.
