my mum makes chicken erm... things in it. some are quite nice.. but wen shes on a health kick she cooks everything she can find in it. including spinach and lettuce. i ask you. cooked leetuce!!

The main trouble with cooking lettuce is that when raw it takes more energy to eat than it contains, so when you cook it not only do you remove the goodness but you also expend a lot more energy!
