I wonder if it's possible to publish the skin interface and start a project on Sourceforge where everyone can contribute. The best skins could then be picked by the DNA team.

That would mean the BBC making the xsl open-source, which is something it hasn't ever done so far.

Well there was something about tweaking colours in certain circumstances, but I'm afraid it went rather over my head
However the rivets are and remain dead cool
*looks to bang nails into Goo to replicate the same effect*

If you go to the Aces email group and scroll back through the posts you should find mention of the new DNA, prolly in a post from Mark. Just follow the link and the directions.

There should have been a message on the Aces yahoo message board thing, I reckon. I'm not an ace, but I'm a scout, and there was a message on the scouts message board about it. You should have heard through the mailing list in that case.
I am pretty sure that Aces get to test new systems before they are launched, as it says they do on the 'why be an ace' page.

s off to re-subscribe (if they'll take me back! )

Well everybody, if there's one thing for certain, I can see it being more of a runaway success than Alabaster!

*shocked*
IMHO, Alabaster still rules. Brunel (and GOO) breaks about half of the rules in my 'Web Usability' book , but Alabaster doesn't.
