Hmmmm. I agree with Croz though - a damn good formatting always scares a computer into submission....

You know, when I have server problems, this is what I do: I leave a lousy tip and go to a different restaurant the next time.

That's hard to do without a

seriously though, One time I was trying to see some photos in the
h2g2 post and it went down. Do you suppose the existance of photos when whey used to be nonexistant could be part of the problem?

Pre Rupert there were pictures scattered all over h2g2 as we were allowed to link to them from external sites etc.
I hardly think that the small amount of space taken up by the official 'blobs' would seriously destabilise the servers.
