Well, it's working and seems to be faster smiley - run... but I've a bone to pick with the staff...

This message was posted on the BBCI site when I tried accessing H2G2 earlier:

"If you start to suffer from h2g2 withdrawal symptoms during the wait, then we highly recommend tea, juggling and the rest of BBCi as excellent ways to pass the time"

Have you ever tried juggling with Tea,smiley - steam I ask you, I've just ruined a perfectly good pair of trousers and a keyboard smiley - laugh

smiley - cheers

Thanks Jim,

Now, lets see how quickly we can overload the new servers, get posting everyone.

Ditto! When I first upgraded to ADSL it made no difference to my H2G2 speed because it was already slower than my modem; now it seems the ADSL might actually be *worth* the £10 a week I pay for it! smiley - ok

Of course, the lack of the three to four minute pauses while pages load means the end of the last lingering vestages of my domestic activity... (Dusting, hoovering, washing dishes etc. smiley - biggrin)

I have dial up service through ATT worldnet and I don't see any increase in speed. Probably because of things between here and there.

and it's so fast i can hardly see any improvement here smiley - erm

of course that's not quite true: the downtimes seem to be fewer right now. and this is usually a busy time

so smiley - ok
