------------------------------------------------------
First of all; my using alcoholic emoticons is mainly restricted to the "boardroom of evil plotting" thread, and if you read it from start you would see why
Strange to have to defend the use of emoticons though, but as I understand it, you see yourself as a selfproclaimed analyst. Doing that on the net on such loose grounds is at best being a charlatan and a quack; at worst it can be dangerous to those you impose it on.
I might have used some of those words and as such I will stand by it anytime, as this thread IS called "why do some people hate americans", and therefor should try to be answered.
And no I have never seen you telling people to leave a discussion in here; worse yet : In another thread you told some other american, who called americans arrogant, that he could easily give up his american citizenship and ask to be deported to, where was it, Sudan?
At best that is ignorance, and at worst, that kind of thinking is what leads to a uniform society. To put it nice.

....And as Apparition and I has said on several posts; americans tend to take criticism of USA as a personal insult and, refuse to debate the essense of the criticism. You definately being one of them.

Apparition, how do you think birth would feel about it, if I said *I* too have American friends? (Which I do..)

I MUST confess......
.....so have I.

Careful... You see what birth said of me for mentioning it about two or maybe three times in over a year. (has anyone counted how many times he's said he is a father?)
As far as I can see births motivation is to disrupt any real debate concerning America and cast doubt on anyone not staunchly pro American. (putting it nicely, that is)

T´mershi Duween Posted Sep 17, 2002
...and then we´re into that loop again.
That is exactly birth´s intention on theese threads.
Sad really.

Take a look at the two posts at the top of the last page and the limk and tell me what you think. Let's get into this
Why do some people hate Americans?(and why should they pity propaganda believing Americans?
T´mershi Duween Posted Sep 17, 2002
Yes, I saw that the first time around, but restrained to comment on it, as i think americans would not recognize it as civilian losses, but collateral damage.
Even the wedding party being "erased".
That is what is so hard for me to understand; that america didn´t even learn just a tiny bit from the 911 incident. It goes out and kills more civilians and don´t stop to think if it may create more hate and anger towards it and if not more potential "terrorists" are being hatched.
Another thing I wonder about theese days, is if america understands that if they go to war on Iraq, more terror will strike inside america.
I see 2 answers to that question.
1: It DOES NOT know, and therefor can only be expected to react with shock and disbelieve when it happens, and we should feel comppassionate; for they know not better.
2: They DO know, and therefor has chosen, collectively as a democracy, to sacrifice those civilian americans, and should be shunned and ridiculed if they hypocritically whimper and whine about "innocent" lives being taken.

I think they'll want another one
3. They DO know, and therefor has chosen, collectively as a democracy, to sacrifice those civilian americans and therefor can only be expected to react with shock and disbelieve when it happens, and we should feel comppassionate; for they know not better.
Oh and
4. "we have no control over out government" "it's the lesser of two evils on election day". Then in anothe circumstance "this is the land of the free" and/or "we have the best. If you don't like it, move to Iraq or Syria".

Why make another negetive thread T'Mershi? Why not something positive something instead of a thread that causes more disention and bad feelings among researchers. Maybe a thread where some of the participants are not on the defensive from the get go? We might even agree on a few things.

"Who are you trying to fool? You suggested 'What's wrong with Danes' on another thread."
"You said this, you said that". If you go to the trouble of accusing someone, please quote them to the extent of representing the context in which that statement was made. You may find it has squat to do with THIS thread.
Alternatively, how about not throwing personal accusations at all? Instead, concentrate on putting your energies to actually forming a case for your argument. That especially goes for T´mershi Duween: you seem to be content criticising and finding fault. I guess it's easier to destroy then to create, so I'll leave you to your personal slander.

NA I notice you quote me to make your point but if you read the this page and the last you'll see that I attempted to keep on topic and provided a link to support my statement. Are you ignoring or did you not read whan I said this under your last post?
"sorry to dispoint you TD but the words were genuine."
