So once again we´re into the loop where birth has been offended, and shoots at anything that moves, without anything better to say, than people can just shove it if they don´t agree with him, or leave their country.

T'Mershi I know you are trying to draw me into an angry cofrontation but I have only sadness for you. I not know what has happened to you to illicet such anger for such a large and diverse population of this worlds people. The only thing that connects these people is they are american. This strong dislike of anything american from goverment,policy,people,mores,looks have all been commented by you in a negitive fashion. The fact that you are subscribed to 7 threads about america {most shed the US in a negitive light} out of 10 theads you participate in shows your obsession with a the US. Most of your posts are pictures of alcohol and when you do attually say somthing it is in anger or contemp of anything american.

Because this medium of comunication is so hard to pick up emotion I do not know if your many posts of alcohol is a cry for help or a juvenile play for attention.

Your comtempt for my country and brethen is equally sad as it is obviously based on telivision {american sitcoms and talk shows aimed at a audience of limited ability}} movies {with no connection in reality} and news programs that have become more entertianment oriented then news worthy} and maybe a few tourist who as blind to local ways and a nuisance. Giving you a warped sence of americans on the whole. If you took the time to investigate you would most likly find we are much the same. I have taken the time to write this in hopes that you will take the time to get to know a nation before you condem each and every one of them.

Debates such as these have a nasty habit of evolving to personal slander brawls. May I propose that we focus on the arguments that are brought forward and not on the people.

So starbirth, please refrain from telling people to leave. It's tough to debate anything if all you're left with is people who agree with you.

ApparÏtÏon, with the following statament after your name: "(You appear to be a few bits short of a byte, my friend)", does leave you at a dissadvantage when trying to highlight the negative aspects of arrogance.

And I do ask that we all go to the trouble of supporting our arguments. Statements such as "Americans are arrogant", without defining the context or offering any examples is simply bait for a fight. I for one know many Americans who are quite humble and hence would dispute the statement. Given that the person didn't bother to support their statement, I'm inclined to ignore it.

What I put in brackets after my name changes on a regular basis and is made up of quotes from books, movies and TV. The current one is from "Total Recal 2070" a TV series I happen to like.

In my last posting I made a statement and provided a link. Since I have friends who are American I know better and when I make a statement like my previous posting it is aimed at government and those that agree with what it's doing in reguard to what I'm posting about at the time.

Don´t expect birth to understand that, as he has clearly showed that any criticicsm towards USA is taken as a personal insult.

I have never told a person to leave any thread. I would ask TD or Apparition to show any proof that I ever did. In fact I have tried to get along with TD and Aparition on several occaisions with nothing but disdain from aparition and pictures og alcohole from TM. I find it sad that they use terms about americans being:

Arogant,fat,uninformed,bullys,rednecks,cowards,wormongers ect. ect. ect.

Then make the statement "but don't take it personal"

Apparition you have made that statement about having friends who are american far to many times. It is starting to sound to me like the words I have heard come out of some well heeled, society types who say: 'Why some of my best friends are black' Whith friends like that......

Perhaps we re title this Why Some People Hate SOME Americans then and have done with it

That about sums it up, Mystrunner. I am reminded of a line in 'Baddiel's Syndrome' an hysterically funny comedy we're currently seeing. (Given the NZ attitude towards British TV, it *could* be 10 years old, tho' I don't think so..)
